WMF CANDLESTICK: WOMAN & 2 CHILDREN

A very original "Art Nouveau" set of 2 candelabra in polished pewter, created around 1900 by the well known German firm WMF (Wurtembergische MetalWarenFabrik) and representing children with a lovely maiden in a beautiful pleated dress. The children are different on each candelabra.
The same draped maiden figure is illustrated with a fruit plate at page 346 of the original 1906 "The Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork Catalogue" from WMF as models N° 140 and 140A.
Pewter handmade reproduction of the original in same size and finishing.
