WMF CANDLESTICK: MAIDEN
reproduction
A very original "Art Nouveau" candelabra in polished pewter, created around 1900 by the well known German firm WMF (Wurtembergische MetalWarenFabrik) and representing a lovely maiden with pleated dress.
The same draped maiden figure is illustrated with a fruit plate at page 349 of the original 1906 "The Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork Catalogue" from WMF as models N° 469 and 469A.
Pewter handmade reproduction of the original in same size and finishing.
