A nice pair of 925 silver "Art Nouveau" earrings featuring a typical Ginkgo leaf motive and decorated with light green and amber enamel.
The leaves of the Ginkgo Bilboa tree are symbol of long life, hope and happiness and their beautiful original shape has often inspired Art Nouveau artists.
The same floral motive exists also as a brooch (see item 01946).
Reproduction in 925 sterling silver with hand applied Champ-levé enamel.
