This nice letter opener is decorated with a typical Jugendstil motive.
It was designed by the well known German firm WMF (Wurtembergische MetalWarenFabrik) around 1900.
This letter opener is part of the same collection as model N° 117 illustrated at page 264 of the original 1906 "The Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork Catalogue" from WMF.
Pewter in a handmade reproduction of the original in the same size and finishing.
