WMF POPPY VASE

This decorative and elegant flower vase is decorated with a superb poppy flower.
This floral vase was designed under the supervision of sculptor/designer Albert Mayer for the well known German firm WMF (Wurtembergische MetalWarenFabrik) around 1903. Mayer was appointed head of the Art Studio in 1894.
This item is illustrated at page 372 of the original The Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork Catalogue from WMF of 1906 as model N° 109.
Pewter handmade reproduction of the original in same size and finishing.
