Peter Bitter and his associate Kaufmann Wilhelm Gobbers opened their factory in 1900: "Crefelder Metallwaren-Fabrik Bitter & Gobbers GmbH" and used the name Imperial Zinn and B & G on their pieces.
They worked with French artist Maurel.
